The First floor is constructed using metal web joists to allow for easy insulation of services such as heating and pluming.
These floors are ideal for mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

BER A rating was achieved on this house by using extra insulation.
Extra insulation is easy to install when you use timberframe construction.
